The One With The Juice: Carrot and Apple

Bonjour my incredible reader, Comon sava? (or however you say it, I am not French, but how I wish I was)

I decided to kick start this blog with a post on juice. Yes juice, it doesn't seem foodie like at all. Well, I recently decided to ditch all those unhealthy, packaged foods and start living clean and healthy. I'm on day one and am aiming to make it to a whole year. Lets see how that works out.

Sooo.. Day 1.
I made a carrot and apple juice for breakfast, and boy did it make me happy!! It is yummy, and delicious and definitely not like the green (spinach and celery) juice my mother made us drink (yuckkk). No, this juice is sweet and yummy (did I say yummy?). My previous (very horrible) experiences made me a bit hesitant to try it out but I'm so glad I did.

It has amazing health benefits, carrots are high in vitamin A, B and C as well as in iron and calcium. Apples are not only high in vitamins, they're also a good source of pectin and anti-oxidants.
AAAND if you're anything like me and without immense googling dont know why you should be having foods with all these nutrients, it lies in five simple words: beautiful skin, hair and body!!

On to the recipe then..
Carrot and Apple Juice:
2 carrots
2 apples

Wash your ingredients and cut the ends of the carrots off. Put them into the juicer, switch it on and VOILA!!
Theres no need to peel to peel your fruits and vegetables, the juicer will remove remove it all for you.
You should get a very orange juice that should be served immediately!! Unfortunately, there is no picture because......... well.. I was really hungry and a grumbling tummy will kind of make you forget to pick up the camera that's right in front of you..

It is incredibly simple and incredibly healthy. No packaged juice will even come close to this. They're not 100% pure and contain preservatives and sugars that do more harm than good, so go ahead, give it a yay and try it out.
